Spring Water

Is all water the same?

Is all water the same?

Our bodies are 70% water. Almost three quarters of your body is water — shouldn’t that water be as pure as possible?

You may be thinking, “well, isn’t water water?” Technically yes, H₂O is H₂O, but it is what is in that water that makes all the difference. Our spring water is extraordinarily pure just as it bubbles from the spring, and the few trace minerals that are even detectable in testing are essential to your health.

Is it spring water?

All bottled water types are sometimes called “spring water”, but that is not really accurate. The origin and processing of different types of bottled water make them quite different in content and taste.

Spring water

Defined as bottled water derived from an underground formation from which water flows naturally to the surface of the earth. To qualify, it must be collected only at the spring, or through a borehole tapping the underground formation feeding the spring. If collection uses an external force, the water must come from the same stratum as the spring and retain all the same physical properties of water that flows naturally to the surface.

Purified water

Drinking water treated by distillation, deionisation or reverse osmosis. Bacteria and dissolved solids have been removed by some process, making it “purified”. It is usually labelled as purified drinking water, or for the specific process used. Many bottled water brands are actually purified drinking water.
